Welcome to Dancescape Studio! Dancescape, LLC is a local community dance studio owned and operated by Jessica Boudreau. Formerly Creative Dance Center, we have been an established studio in this community for over thirty years. We are pleased to announce our new location on the Hwy 190 Bypass (the road in front of Covington High School). We have renovated a new building to better meet our students’ needs, and to provide the best possible dance instruction. Our mission is to instill within each student the love of dance and to assist all students to develop as poised, self-assured individuals. Our goal is to develop the creativity of each and every student in a positive, professional environment. We now have a state of the art studio to accommodate our students growing needs. The DancePlayers, and all of our students, participate in local festivals, community plays and our own performances, including our annual “A Joyful Noise Unto the Lord” show during the Christmas season, which just celebrated its 42nd performance. We offer classes to students ranging in age from two and a half years to adult. Several techniques are offered, including Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Jazz, East Indian, African, Tap, Creative, Cheernastics, Dance Team Prep, Hip Hop and Ballroom. We will be offering new classes and times in the fall of 2008. We also offer a variety of summer camps. During this time, we expand our curriculum to include musical theater. The camps are offered to students ranging in age from two and a half years to adult.
At Dancescape, we also promote fun through dance by offering lock-ins, sleepovers, and birthday parties. The events are held
several times throughout the year.
