Performance Opportunities
At Dancescape, we strive to provide performance opportunities for all of our students. We perform 2 annual shows: our Christmas show entitled A Joyful Noise unto the Lord and our spring concert held in May.
This will be our 45th performance of A Joyful Noise unto the Lord. Held annually at The Greater Convington Center in the Fuhrmann Auditorium, as well as other venues, our Christmas show has become a holiday staple for many in our community. This show was created by the late Rosemerry Fuhrmann Hanian of Creative Dance Center and is now being continued by Jessica Boudreau, Revè Pounds, Rebecca Boudreau, and the staff and students of Dancescape Studio. Our performance celebrates the Christmas spirit through Christmas carol dances and the nativity set to the music of Bach.
Our spring concert, held every May, showcases all of the hard work that our students have done throughout the year. This show gives us a
chance to show family and friends what we have accomplished and how much our students have grown as dancers over the year.
Performing Groups
We have a performing group known as the Danceplayers. This group is comprised of junior high school, high school, and college students who have been invited to study many different dance techniques and perform them often. The Danceplayers practice every other Saturday to perfect their many dances. The students also have the opportunity to choreograph and perform their own dances. The group performs at many festivals throughout the year.
We have created a younger group, known as the Junior Dancer Performing Group. This group is comprised of younger dancers. Like the Danceplayers, this group is invitation only and practices every other Saturday. This group will also perform at festivals throughout the year. The Danceplayer and Junior Dancer groups are available for different shows, festivals, and events. Please contact us with any questions or for booking information.
